If you are looking for an alternative carbonated alcoholic drink with lower carb, Hard Seltzer is what you are looking for. This is the package that you need to ferment a 23L batch of Hard Seltzer with 5% of ABV.
Instruction:
1) Boil a pot of water (23L)
2) Add 2 kgs of sugar into the pot and stir it until all sugar is melted.
3) Put off the fire, add in the package of Proper Nutrient for hard seltzer (Package with an Octopus on it)
4) Cooling down the wort to 35c then transfer it into a 'Sanitized' fermenter and add in Lutra Yeast
5) Leave it for fermentation at room temp for 5 days then cold crush it (is advisable if you have a chiller) for 3 days at 1-2c.
6) lastly, you can decide whether to keg it or bottling it (2nd fermentation is required for bottling)
* Adding your favourite puree in your empty glass before pouring in the ice and fizzy hard seltzer and enjoy it, cheers.
